Not planned Allow moderators to see member's email address

One of my moderators noticed an oddity in Xenforo's behavior. When a new member is in the moderation queue a moderator can see their email address. Once the user is approved the moderator isn't able to see the user's email. Only admins are able to view a member's email address in the user editor. It doesn't make sense. Why restrict access to the information after a moderator has already seen the email address?

A scenario where this would most likely play out is a moderator wants to email a member who has been absent for some time. You're much more likely to get a response via email than a private message.

Since upgrading to 2.1.2 my moderators complain that they can no longer see email addresses of users in the spam cleaner. Code change is "" in templates.xml line 64158 What's the reason behind such a strict limitation? Could "Can view IPs" from the moderator permissions be used for that maybe?
