Not planned alerts to include thread starters profile picture

This suggestion has been closed. Votes are no longer accepted.
Moderator action alerts are a special case. They aren't sent in the context of a specific user or even a specific item of content (they can apply to multiple threads, for example, if inline moderation is used).

The avatar here - if anything - would make sense to be the moderator who performed the action but we deliberately don't disclose that.

Or change the avatar to a font awesome representation of a thread. Or if it has to be a representation of a person, the quadratical picture of the webpage. Would look more professional in my opinion.

But it is like the "oops" where I thought the system was doing everything perfectly, it was not a fault of the system it was more a "fault" of the user (entered a search without a search string so he will be redirected to the advanced search - so I thought).

This suggestion is already implemented as the admin can set an avatar to be displayed instead of the "?" Avatar here:

/admin.php?styles/(...)/style-properties/group&group=avatar
