XF 2.0 After upgrade to 2.09, can the /library folder be deleted?

Once the plugins are updated from 1.x to 2.x, and any remaining ones uninstalled, is it safe to delete the old .library folder? Or is there anything in there still needed?

Yes I saw that but at the moment I don't have access to SSH root. I am the technical admin - I need access to cPanel but am still waiting for that.

Yes, the library directory can be emptied.

We keep it in the download package though (I can't recall why) but it's empty and unused so delete it but don't be alarmed to see it reappear.

When you can, it's worth running the clean up command as there are other unused files and directories.

If you vaguely know your way around code then you may be able to figure out the other files / dirs to remove from that cleanup command script.
