Advanced Application Forms for XenForo 1.x [Deleted]

I'm encountering a very strange bug. The second to last question on my form is a "Multi-line Text" question and the last question is a yes/no. But when people fill out my form and fill in their response to the "Multi-line Text" question, the form output just lists Yes or No for it.

Find attached my form xml (the form where this is happening is called "Server Admin Application")

I filled out the application like you have it and it fills out and posts properly.

I would hazard a guess that the people that are filling out the form are only putting 'Yes' or 'No' for the answer in the multi-line text question. Which is not a bug, but an indication of a lack of intelligence on the part of the person filling out the form.

There is no bug. It accepts long text with no problem ...



If they say they filled it out, send me a copy of what they say they put in the answer.

What are you considering a logic based question? A simple Yes/No question can be considered logic based.

OK, no. The system does not support conditional (logical) questions.

I made the forms for the applications. But didn't it used to show the applications in the navigation bar in public view? If so, I don't remember how to have it show.

The form are activate.

Check the add-on settings and be sure 'Show Application Types in Navtabs' is checked.

Also check the user criteria for both the application type and application itself. The navigation tab only shows to visitors that have permission to view the type and to fill out an application in that type.

And what criteria do you have set for the type?

Has the user you're checking the display for filled out the form already? If yes, then no form or type or navtab would display for that user because you've limited the number of times the form can be filled out to 1.

The User(s) have never filled out the application before, no one has.

With all of those settings, the navigation tab should be showing.

The only other things that could cause it to not show is if you haven't defined any questions for the application form, or if you or another add-on has modified the navigation tabs.

Does the navigation tab show using the default XenForo style?

I am using the default Xenforo Style, I do not have any other themes.

The only thing I have is...Xenporta 2.

Try disabling the Custom Tabs add-on and see if it shows the Application Form tab then.

Well, then the only other option is to disable all other add-ons except the Application Forms and see if it shows then.

If it doesn't, I would need to access your site as an Admin to establish why the tab isn't showing.
