AdSense Anchor and Vignette without auto ads?

Couldn't see a thread about this.

But auto ads for a forum is a definite no no with the huge amount of ads they insert. But would be good to manually chose some pages and users for Anchor and Vignette ads.

Is this possible? as I would only want these extra ads for people not logged in.

For auto ads now there isn't any code for so can't see how to do it and the adsense forums aren't great for answers.

Sorry to dredge this up, did you ever find a way of implementing anchor ads without going down the whole auto ads route?

Had similar working using the notice system but not clear how this sits with Adsense T&C.

I was just looking into this and believe it can be accomplished by:

1. Enabling Auto Ads
2. Disabling "In-Page Ads"
3. Disabling "Matched Content"
4. Allowing or Disabling "Anchor Ads" (depending on whether you want them or not)
5. Allowing "Vignette Ads"

You can also disable "Auto Ads" for entire sections of your website using "Page Exclusions".
