Is it possible to hide the ads for users who posted >X amount of posts for the previous X amount of days? Not thinking about total posts in other words, so only recently active users don't see the ads.

You could do this with user groups: New user group "Recently active users" and move the affected users to that group (and remove then when necessary). Then it would be easy to exclude them from viewing the ad(s).

BUT: you still need an add-on, that manages the user group memberships. I not aware of such an add-on. I would not recommend to do this on runtime (this would be to much calculation on most page requests), but via the cron system (e.g. once a day).

Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah, I'm trying to find a way to award the most active users, so will look into this.

bug report:

when using threadID targeting (no other criteria/target settings enabled)

1771522350897.webp

The ad also shows on the forum home and category parents (category node, not forum nested as parent nodes) when using a global position like:

1771522418336.webp

Otherwise, it works correctly (doesn't show on forum nodes, misc, etc)

Expectation: Ad only shows up on thread 20701.

I understand i should switch global/above content to a thread view position. A better way to relate the positions and content would be helpful (eg, thread id targeting is only available when a threadview position is selected)
