Total Attachments: 318,158
Disk Space Used: 29.06 GB
Storage Type: Attachments are currently being stored in the filesystem
Average Attachment Filesize: 95.8 KB
Total Downloads: 74,684,165

If Xenforo only stores attachments in the database, we might have a bit of a problem. Won't increasing the size of the database by, presumably, 29+ Gig have a detrimental effect on it?
If this is the situation, is there a strong case for implementing filesystem attachments in Xenforo?

Then why would attachments need to be in the database? It's surely way easier to import simple references to attachment data than the data itself.

Here i have about 2,740,867 attachments stored at the filesystem and more than 400gb of disk space used by them. Moving them to a database is near imposible for me. Another problem in the way to migrating to xenforo.

Attachments can be done in multiple sessions (so the bulk of the time that would be spent on attachments can be done before the actual transfer takes place)
