Yeah I clearly didn't do enough due dil but I didn't expect to.
I would always do some quick checks if it was a new developer or addon we haven't used before. But we've paid for their addons in previous years so this was just a renewal.

@Alpha1 said, I think there are improvements that could be made to remove the chance of this happening to other people. Of course that page xf hosts about addonflare says unmaintained and someone has also posted a warning based on their experience, but it relies on you scrolling down a bit and of course reading. Why not just remove it so you don't run that risk. There are other ways this can be missed. eg through google SERPS.
