Smiley gone awry?

Ok so the thinking smiley that should look like this



Is displaying on the forum page like this!



What is going on there, and can I do something about it? Also there is still no fix for the cursor going beyond a smilie at the end of a sentence (without using the down arrow key).

It's a known bug.

Nope, they are going to make everyone suffer with it from now until the end of time.

Yes, it will be fixed... ergo, why it's reported as a bug. It may not be fixed as quickly as you want, but I'm sure it will roll out in the next 2.2.x update.

That may be an editor bug, and the editor is NOT an XF development... it's a separate package. But from reading, it may also be a FireFox bug if talking about the two emoji being together and the placement issue...seems that it doesn't happen in other browsers.
