On my site we link to numerous other websites and we are starting to grab attention and have landed our first big advertisers.
I did an experiment and linked a popular link like this...
PopularWebsite.com/article?source=MyDomain.com
By adding ?source=MyDomain.com I attracted the sites attention and they purchased ads on my site.
Not only did that work but it worked twice and I have two larger ad sponsors now so I am convinced there is something to this.
I am thinking I want to add ?source=MyDomain.com to all my external links so that the links are easier identifiable by the linked sites.
Does anyone have an idea how to achieve this?
