AdBlock Detector Pro

AdBlock Detector Pro [Paid] v2.6.6

No permission to buy ($40.00)
Hello,
Just installed the plugin.
I've done some settings and propagated the changes (by clicking orange top button).

Did some tests with Démo buttons and adblock extension enabled and it works.

Now in real test, with another browser in guest mode.
I can see the ads are removed and blocked by the adblocker extension but no overlay from this plugin.

I don't understand what I'm missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nils

Interesting, the demo runs against the adblock extension, if you disable it, the overlay doesn't work, if you enable the adblock extension, it does work...

So, did you publish your changes to the live site? By clicking:

If yes, do you have a full page cache running? If so, you need to clear your cache...

Are you sure you didn't "ignore" the guest account?

Also, you didn't disable the adblock in the user permissions?

If you're still having trouble, private message me your forum link and I'll check your site. Send me a page where it's supposed to be running as guest.

Thank you @Wutime

Yes I did (after each changes) and I can see the Xenforo confirmation.

You mean all caches in Xenforo forum? I only did for "users cache"
Are you sure you didn't "ignore" the guest account?
Yes, I selected "None"
Also, you didn't disable the adblock in the user permissions?
No, for example, for "unregistred"

Hi @Wutime,

would it be possible to add a feature in one of your next updates so that when the warning is displayed:

1. The background becomes darker, making it impossible to read anything?

2. Scrolling is completely disabled?

Thank you in advance!

You can set the overlay background opacity in the style properties. I think it defaults to 85% or 90%.

I'll add a no-scroll option

Hi @Wutime,

Thank you for implementing this feature! It works great on 2.3.x, but not on 2.2.x. In the XF 2.2.x version, scrolling is still possible (tested with Edge and Firefox).
It would be great if you could make the "older" XF version non-scrollable and dark as well. 😉

Thanks in advance!

Works on my 2.3.4

I just tested on XF 2.2, it works fine. You either forgot to clear your cache or your custom 2.2 theme is doing something unique.
