Also I asked @Wutime if I could take the addon over, update and release it, but he declined to let me do that.

I'm just wondering why the files write to the main /js/ directory, it looks suspicious.
Wouldn't it be better off in /js/wutime_adblock/jsfiles or something?

It's far too easy with systems like uBlock to detect and block /js/wutime_adblock/* - that's why it's the primary /js/ folder.

Is this addon supported these days. I see earlier in the discussion that it was removed (at least temporarily) at some point.
Is it compatible with PHP 8?
