is xF known for adding brand new features that have only been on the internet a few months?

Yes, it's very easy to add. It's also very easy to remove if Google decides down the line that it doesn't want to pursue it. I don't see how adding a feature that Google has deployed as part of its primary service is in any way 'a fail' but you are of course welcome to your own opinion.

Im kinda... wtf?

People complained and complained how long it took VB to integrate new features / web trends in. Now XF is embracing these new features and trends... people complain its "too soon".

dot dot dot

People also complain about all the bloat that is in vBulletin as well ;)

Glad it'll be easy to remove down the line if needed.
Is there going to be a native stumbleupon badge as well? My point is why worry about this when there are much much larger issues that need added/fixed. o_O

My suggestion would be to use an "all in one" service like addthis or the numerous other scripts out there like that, or for that matter, why not code one in house and make it exclusive to xF forums.

Just a suggestion, don't take my "fail" comment personally.
