I am ready to welcome new release, XenForo 1.0.3
I thought you were welcoming 1.1
Normally he's the one spamming the Bug Section
Anticipating another Tuesday release! Hopefully tomorrow...
Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed. I'll guess that it'll be next Tuesday, not this week.
I know last post was June 22nd, NOOOO!
I'm hoping that xenForo can finally support Google +1 natively.
It's a brand new social media site and it should be easy for admins to add it themselves.
Actually, that's not what I'm talking about. Look at my site here to see the +1 button in action: www.mw3blog.com
Kier stated its planned, but will come disabled by default.
It still amazes me when I see the brutal
I was going to see if you are implementing the +1 differently to me but you are serving a blank page
I look forward to the next release
*throws bricks at his forehead* I was upgrading.
But alas, its fixed, and its ready to go. Raring tooo goo!
I will have a look now.
And the XenForo user account has just logged in...*drumroll*
is xF known for adding brand new features that have only been on the internet a few months?
Gee I hope +1 doesn't go away in the next 6 months like so many other google inventions..
the +1 badge is Very easy to add ourselves..
sorry but this is a fail :-/
Yes, it's very easy to add. It's also very easy to remove if Google decides down the line that it doesn't want to pursue it. I don't see how adding a feature that Google has deployed as part of its primary service is in any way 'a fail' but you are of course welcome to your own opinion.
Im kinda... wtf?
People complained and complained how long it took VB to integrate new features / web trends in. Now XF is embracing these new features and trends... people complain its "too soon".
dot dot dot
Keeping up with latest web technology = +1 XF
People also complain about all the bloat that is in vBulletin as well
Glad it'll be easy to remove down the line if needed.
Is there going to be a native stumbleupon badge as well? My point is why worry about this when there are much much larger issues that need added/fixed.
My suggestion would be to use an "all in one" service like addthis or the numerous other scripts out there like that, or for that matter, why not code one in house and make it exclusive to xF forums.
Just a suggestion, don't take my "fail" comment personally.
