XF 1.4 Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Hi,
So basically when i'm trying to connect to my forums using xenforo I get this error:
An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.

The message in Source tells me this:
<!-- Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) -->

I've used xenforo for a couple of months and this just started happening. Note that I did not do any changes to anything the last couple of days this occurred.

If this has occurred without any changes then you may want to speak to your host.

The error suggests the details in the /library/config.php file no longer match the database instance credentials.

Someone must have changed something.

And to add to that.. PLEASE change your username for the DB (create another user and give it rights to the DB) from root. That is VERY poor practice from a security standpoint.
