XF 2.2 A page with threads?

I was wondering what it would require to have a tap with threads, that had specific information displaying.

Like images and other specific information.

Clicking on one of the thread would take you to a custom page as well.

If I had to code this, where would I start?

It depends on what you want to do.
Do you need ten threads or some hundreds/thousands?

If this is something small you can add a page with xenforo itself and make a callback to fetch some threads with your own design.

With some custom programming, you can manipulate nodes like here:

With some new templates only for forum x and y, and threads inside, you can show a quite different design.
I will have an example in some weeks, not now, sorry.

And you can just buy one of the content add-ons.

For myself, I tried a lot of these content add-ons, but finally, I go back to the roots.
Too many areas, buttons, links, clicks, blinki blinki - many people are full of all of this.
