A few pre-sales questions - regarding storage and email

I know the big email providers are extremely harsh on self-hosted forum emails, often marking them as spam but just as often banning them altogether. Can xenforo forums send mail through 3rd-party smtp providers? Or what's the best practice with xenforum as far as getting your emails through to members?

On storage - we'd like to use S3 or Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure, just to keep everything off our little hosted server, as it would quickly fill up or otherwise get bogged down. Is there an easy enough way to configure that with xenforo so you can store certain media types elsewhere?
