Just uninstalled this add-on. Even though I had it disabled in the Admin CP, the portal was still being displayed on the forum. I'll wait a bit more before trying again.
I thought I would test this as it seemed a little strange. I can't replicate this. This is even on a forum where I've upgraded from RC1 -> Stable and also from early versions of XenPorta (maybe missed a couple in between) which I thought may have caused issues. It must be a configuration issue on your site? Some caching software may be the culprit? Although I'm using xcache and am not getting the issue at all.Just uninstalled this add-on. I am not seeing any errors in the error log. Maybe you can post them as it would be a little more helpful for Jaxel (if it is a bug).Yeah. I am thinking of uninstalling mine too. Still throwing sporadic errors up in the error log.

The RecentThreads module permissions has already been pointed out by Jaxel (it might be good to put this in the OP though). I've disabled it for now as I don't think it's a showstopper not having it available.
Well I would guess there is still something wrong with your installation, I would be surprised if it is an issue with XenPorta due to this post from the RC3 update (http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-1-0-0-rc3-release-candidate-3.12622/#post-166149). Are you running RC3 or above? Maybe this could be your issue here.No configuration issues here that I know of, but I'm not all that familiar with this add-on. At any rate it was clearly disabled, as it was crossed out and greyed in the admin control panel. And after logging in from a different browser, using a test account, neither of which had loaded the portal previously (I had only installed it overnight), the portal page came up right after login. We don't have any caching system on our server yet, although I wonder if something in XF may have cached it...or even in XenPorta, where the system may have been off but the page was served up from the cache.
Sure, it is a great feature - however, not having it is not a reason for me to uninstall.RecentThreads was one of the few reasons I wanted a portal in the first place, along with RecentNews. I was working on a one-page wrap-up of the site as an entry point. Once these minor things are worked out, this will suit my purposes perfectly.
XenPorta is a great product. I use it on my site and have no issues. My server error log is clear with respect to XenPorta. So far this is the one product of Jaxel's which I use 100% and have donated for. If you are having issues, try to offer the full details including exact error msg, screenshots, etc so Jaxel or others can help.

I lost all my module_settings using this version of the RecentThreads.php file. I copied this module to other areas of the layout. What changes do I need to make the the RecentThreads.php file in order to make this work?Attached is the current version of RecentThreads.php I am using on my forums.
