I think the answer to your question is .... You need to put the video in a forum post and get that forum post to appear on your XenPorta Home Page.

If you read what I asked, I just want to know how to put a YouTube video in a module, it's a simple question and it keeps being twisted.

You can't.
There is: XenMedio Recent Media
But that's not what you want.
Should be easy to make though.

Please take a step back and relax. This isn't a job for us. We are fellow site owners like yourself. We are here solely out of kindness to help.

You can expect us to have info directly related to XF. That's why this site exists. You can ASK that the developers who offer FREE mods help with their mods. XF generously allows their mod creators to use the XF site for such discussions.

Please recognize assistance with the creation of custom modules is really above and beyond. It is support for a custom block for an unofficial add-on.

I'm sorry, I just got a bit angry that nobody understood me. I just wanted to know if it was possible to embed YouTube videos in Xenporta Modules, but I tried and it did not work, so I'm guessing it's not possible..

Ok so download the file attached, go into modules and import it from the bottom page. What you will want to do after that is edit it in your adminCP. Login to your AdminCP and go to Appearance>Templates and search for 'PortalYouTube' and open it up

This will allow you to edit the template/module directly from your adminCP without having to download it and edit it in notepad everytime. All you need to do is change the title to whatever you want and leave the youtube code intact. To edit the YouTube video shown do the following...

In this example you will see the link 'http://www.youtube.com/embed/CXTyV3u6Mkc' in the template, the only part you need to change is the 'CXTyV3u6Mkc' which is the youtube video ID. You will notice a similar code in every YouTube Video, simply change it as you wish. And then save it and place it on your portal page via the module settings... I used 'center' placement for mine with a sort ID of '0' which puts it up the very top, up to you where it looks best. Let me know if you have any issues.

Thats an easy one, log into your adminCP and go to Appearances>Phrases and search for 'medio' i cant remember exactly what the original one says but basically keep looking through there until you find the same text thats the default then go in and change it to whatever you want

This is not a well constructed block. Settings require UNIQUE names, and you created settings with the names "title", "video_link", "width" and "height". No other module will be able to use settings with those same names.
