im looking to creating pages once a month so was looking for a way to show them on the fron page of the portal

I am still not clear. The portal is a page. What do you mean when you say you wish to show the page on the portal page? A link to the page in the sub-navigation menu?

Well, I'm pretty much just trying to put an invisible youtube video that autoplays so I can put a song on the homepage, but I hear no sound, and I made it visible but it was still invisible, could you tell me the code to embed a YouTube video?
 
I still am not clear WHERE you want this video?

Are you trying to create a new block that plays YouTube videos?
 
You can post in the XenPorta thread and request for Jaxel to improve the add-on by offering a XenMedio block in the portal, which would be nice because then you could play any YouTube video along with any other content in your library.

You can also go to the first page of this thread which offers instructions on how you can create your own block.

That's what I'm asking, how to make my own, but I don't know how to put YouTube in it..
 
The add-on modules is designed as a "self help" section.

After XenPorta was created there was a flood of requests for "can you create a block to do xyz". The developer shared a process by which it is possible for people to make their own modules. That is the entire purpose of this section.

You are requesting custom coding. You can make the block yourself, and if you need coding assistance share what you have and the community can help you past roadblocks. Otherwise you can post a request for a developer to create the block for you, which will probably require a fee as a incentive to have a developer work on your project as opposed to others.

Bottom line, you are not asking for support, you are asking for custom work. BIG difference.

I just asked how to embed youtube videos.... and I haven't received a straight answer. Obviously you didn't understand what I meant.
 
I am trying to make the block myself, as I said before...
So cross out the bottom line, I AM asking for support.
