I want to open my xenforo forum but I need 2+ more functionality.

1)when registering on my xenforo forum there is an option to add "certificate/education/skills"

2)There is gold balance, every user have his own balance and can use his balance to do things

3)Things to do with his balance...


How much cost to do things like this?

And how long it will take to setup all things?

All 3 things are possible provided you spend money to acquire the addons for #2-3.

How long it takes depends on you, because you seem newer to this than someone who's fairly experienced.

I recommend you purchase Xenforo, and the addons that you require, and you setup a test board. I did this to work on during my free time to learn how everything works, to custom create the board's theme to how I want it to look. And when it was ready, I moved it to a live site.

You can do this easily by installing a fresh board when you're ready to go live, and just exporting the theme from the test board, and import it to your live board.

This is the best route to go, because you gain the learning experience. You'll have the Xenforo staff and the community to help you when you need help.

OK. Lets say I buy $195 licence for a year. I need help to instal it on my own server.
I dont have the server yet, do You have any preference which server is good?
How can I find some1 interested to help me and make forum ON?

I use KnownHost: https://www.knownhost.com/

They could even help you install it if you asked, they use Xenforo as well as their support forum.

I very much encourage you try to do all this yourself, and ask for help in the support forums here. You want the experience, so you grow into a strong Administrator, rather than one that has to depend on someone else.

Additionally if installing and setting up the forum is too much for you, you could just consider the cloud hosted solution which starts around 60 a month and just always have the Xenforo team support you.

You don't need a VPS if you're just starting out. You can go with shared hosting, once your board outgrows those resources, then you go to a VPS.

That includes managed services, so if there's a problem with the VPS, you can ask them to troubleshoot. Unmanaged are cheaper, but you're 100% responsible for it. If you're experienced with Linux, you'll be fine.

Don't use a VPS because you have no experience with your own server. Find some cheap hosting like Hetzner.
