XQ Emoji Autocomplete Fix is a lightweight workaround for two XenForo 2.3 editor issues involving emoji and smilie autocomplete.
What it fixes
When typing a shortcut such as :sad after existing text, choosing a suggestion can unexpectedly move the smilie onto a new line. This add-on keeps it inline with the surrounding text.

Requires XenForo 2.3.13 or later within the 2.3 series. Version 1.0.1 has been tested on XenForo 2.3.13. Later 2.3 releases are permitted by the version check, but should be checked after upgrading.
On XenForo 2.4 and later, the script does not load and the workaround is inactive, even if the add-on remains installed and enabled. This restriction reflects the editor changes announced for 2.4. Disable or uninstall the add-on when upgrading to that series.
If a later 2.3.x release fixes these issues, disable the add-on and confirm that autocomplete and recent emoji tracking work correctly without it, then uninstall it. Keeping an unnecessary workaround active could interfere with updated editor behavior. The add-on does not automatically detect an upstream fix.
Avoid combining it with another add-on that patches the same emoji autocomplete behavior unless compatibility has been verified.
