XenPing: one-tap waves, five gestures and an inbox to wave back

XenPing: one-tap waves, five gestures and an inbox to wave back 2.1.0

Can a member be flooded with waves?
No. Each member has a daily limit (set per user group, or unlimited for groups you trust), the same person can only wave at them once per cooldown, and they choose in their privacy settings who may wave at all: members, people they follow, or nobody. Members they ignore cannot wave.

Does a wave create a conversation or a post?
No. It is an alert and a line in the Your waves inbox, nothing else. There is nothing to moderate.

Will it slow down long threads?
No. The button in the message author block is off by default; when you turn it on, the counts for the whole page are read in one query and the gesture menu only loads when someone opens it.

I run 1.x. What happens to existing waves?
They are kept. Install the 2.0.0 archive over 1.x from the Admin CP and the counts are rebuilt automatically. Add-ons that called the 1.x repository keep working.

Does it work with XenLevel?
Yes. When Level is installed, sending a wave earns XP like any other action.
