ACP EDITOR RESIZER​

[XenChef] ACP Editor Resizer is a focused Admin CP utility that makes XenForo’s code editor boxes easier to work with.

If you spend time building Page nodes, editing Template HTML fields, adjusting XenForo templates, or working with longer code-style fields in the Admin CP, you have probably run into the same annoyance: the editor box is usable, but cramped. You end up scrolling inside a small fixed editor area while trying to work with larger blocks of HTML, template code, or custom page content.

ACP Editor Resizer fixes that workflow annoyance by allowing supported XenForo Admin CP code editor boxes to be resized vertically and horizontally. Instead of fighting the default editor size, you can drag the editor larger and give yourself more room while you work.

Extra-wide resize mode​

Version 1.0.2 adds an optional Extra-wide resize mode.

When enabled, supported Admin CP editors can be resized wider than the visible browser area. This can give you a much larger horizontal editing workspace for long lines of template HTML, custom Page node code, and other code-style content where a wider editor makes the work easier.

In practice, Extra-wide resize mode can feel almost like a full-screen editing workspace when the editor is expanded wide and tall. When the editor extends beyond the visible browser area, horizontal scrolling is handled by the browser/page.

The option is disabled by default. When Extra-wide resize mode is disabled, ACP Editor Resizer keeps the safer default behavior and caps horizontal resizing at the browser edge.

• Adds vertical resizing to supported Admin CP code editor boxes
• Adds horizontal resizing to supported Admin CP code editor boxes
• Limits horizontal resizing by default so the editor does not run past the browser edge
