Displays New Posts in the sidebar.

This add-on displays new posts to logged in members only. If you would like to show recent posts to your visitors, please download the the Recent Posts v1.0 add-on.

  • All phrases start with newposts_ for your convenience.

This add-on requires the Sidebar Positions add-on located here:

  1. Download and unzip it.
  2. Upload the Andy directory to your server, the correct location is library/Andy.
  3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the Install Add-on page.
  4. Upload the addon-NewPosts_v2.1.xml file.
  5. Click the Install Add-on button.
Questions and Answers:

Q: Can I enable the Unregistered user group to use this add-on?
A: No.

Q: Will this work with other frameworks?
A: No.​

User Group Permissions:

This add-on will not work for Unregistered user group. You will want to "Allow" only for the Registered user group.

Everybody loves Widgets. One of those must have widgets is this one. It attracts a lot of visitors on my forum and generates more members. Keep them coming Andy! Again mint work :)
Excellent little addon that does exactly what it says. Is nice to be able to display the new posts without having to use the Widget Framework (as good as that is) :).
