1. What is Eggy Advertising Manager?​

Eggy Advertising Manager is a self-service advertising solution for XenForo. It allows members to create, purchase and manage banner advertisements directly through your community, with built-in design tools, campaign moderation, automatic rotation and performance tracking.

2. Which XenForo versions are supported?​

Eggy Advertising Manager supports XenForo 2.3.0 and newer, with PHP 8.0 or later. No additional XenForo add-ons are required.

3. Do I need external design software to create advertisements?​

No. The built-in banner designer allows members to create advertisements using custom headlines, descriptions, logos, call-to-action buttons, 12 colour palettes and 14 animation choices, including a static option.

Members can also upload their own finished artwork.

4. What banner sizes and image formats are supported?​

Desktop advertisements use 970 × 90 pixels, with optional 800 × 120 pixel banners for mobile devices.

Supported image formats include PNG, JPG, WebP and animated GIF. Administrators can configure upload size limits.

5. How are advertising payments processed?​

Eggy Advertising Manager integrates with XenForo's native payment system.

Administrators select their accepted payment profiles and configure advertising prices for 7, 14, 30 and 90-day durations.

Paid campaigns are only eligible for activation once payment has been successfully verified and any required moderation has been completed.

6. Can advertisements be approved before appearing?​

Yes. Advertisement moderation is enabled by default and can be disabled through the Admin Control Panel.

When enabled, advertisements require administrator approval before publication. Administrators can review, approve or reject campaigns through a dedicated moderation interface.

7. Can selected members advertise for free?​

Yes. Administrators can specify exempt user IDs through the Admin Control Panel.

Exempt members can create advertisements without payment, while remaining subject to moderation when approval is enabled.

8. How are advertisements displayed and rotated?​

Advertisements participate in a shared random rotation across enabled advertising placements.

Administrators can configure above-header or below-navigation positioning and enable supported forum and thread placements.

9. Can I control which usergroups can create advertisements?​

Yes. Eggy Advertising Manager includes dedicated XenForo usergroup permissions for viewing the advertising system, creating advertisements, editing owned advertisements, deleting drafts and accessing the banner designer.

10. Can advertisers monitor their campaign performance?​

Yes. Members can view their advertisements, campaign status, expiry dates, impressions and clicks through their advertising dashboard.

11. Is Eggy Advertising Manager mobile-friendly?​

Yes. The advertising management interface and administration areas include responsive layouts designed for desktop and mobile devices.

Optional mobile-specific banner artwork is also supported.

12. Does Eggy Advertising Manager work with custom XenForo styles?​

Yes. The surrounding interface uses XenForo's styling system and is designed to inherit the active community style.

The banner designer provides independent colour palettes for advertisement artwork.

13. Will advertisements stop displaying when they expire?​

Yes. Expired advertisements are excluded from active rotation, and their campaign information remains available through the management interface.

14. Is the $28 licence a recurring subscription?​

No. Eggy Advertising Manager costs $28 as a one-time purchase, including 12 months of updates.

After the initial period, customers can optionally renew updates for $12 per additional 12 months.

Renewal is not required to continue using an installed, licensed version.
