Conversation Search 1.1

Allows members to quickly find conversations in their inbox.

    The Conversation Search add-on will allow members to quickly find conversations in their inbox.

    • Search any combination of name, title and message content.
    • Title and message searches can be any text.
    • All phrases start with conversationsearch_ for your convenience.
    1. Download conversationsearch_v1.1.zip and unzip it.
    2. Upload the Andy folder to your server. The correct location is library/Andy.
    3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
    4. Upload the addon-ConversationSearch_v1.1.xml file.
    5. Click the Install Add-on button.

    Q: Will this add-on work on forums with millions of Conversation messages?
    A: Yes. However searches on very large forums canl be slow.

    Q: What type of text can I search for?
    A: Any type of text can be searched, for example:

    While it may not work with Elastic Search, that doesn't matter to me in the least.(...since I'm on a shared server)

    What matters to me is this add-on is a quick & convenient way for you & your users to search through various conversations for specific text. If it weren't for this handy add-on, here is how you would do such: YOU DON'T.(period)
