    Sorry for yesterday.. I passed out at 2PM.. and VERY recently woke up. I'm sorta disappointed that I didn't get any convo responses though.:( Because... ugh. Those are always kinda nice to look forward to.

    I wanted to mention this earlier: My thumb got messed up by my dog. My doctor made me get antibiotics. I can't even turn a doorknob without it hurting rather badly. My right thumb too... and I'm right handed. I wanted to do dishes.. and it was actually painful. I still did an hour or so of it. My nail is cracked too.. and that's awful. Since bleeding.

    That... Actually makes a lot of sense, all told. Although, I think the last book actually works seriously as well... for parts of it.
    Zelazny received offers from other authors to write more Amber stuff... And turned them all down. He viewed it as his, and something special to him. After he died... The inheritor of the copyright commissioned an entire new line of books.

    Cairhienin might make me shorter and paler... since Cairhienin tend to have those features even among the commoners. Softer features too. Dark hair and eyes are common.

    It may also make one better at reading people.

    Altaran would likely give.. olive skin, dark hair and eyes, and they happen to be shorter than most.. other than the Cairhienin.
