Exactly, so you'd need a Xenforo extension to trigger the onesignal API. Just adding the code like in your instructions won't do anything.

How does this work with no extension, how does the onesignal API know there is a notification from Xenforo software? Surely there needs to be some sort of integration?

Is it possible to turn off the 404 logging when you don't want it? It would be useful to have on for short periods to monitor, but long term, I wouldn't want the database being written to for every 404...

Make sure you don't have any spaces either side of the ID or secret. I had this same problem until I looked at the URL it was creating and realised that the highlighted ID and secret when you copy it from the Google developer website has a space at both ends.

Does the alert also send an email to the user? Or do they only see it if they login?

Not sure what the problem could be, has anything changed on your site? Might be worth re-uploading the add-on.

I think it might be easier to use something like bd Widget Framework, that will allow you to make any widgets you want (like a forum list) and add that as a sidebar anywhere on your site. You just need to use "oxy_news_portal" as the template location for the widgets to load on.

I will be upgrading my board later to 1.3.1, it works fine with 1.3.0 and I can't see any changes which would break this add-on. It works with the default theme and has its own style properties to control colours.
