Protip: Don't get an all glass and steel desk. I've had mine for a little over 7 years now and it's a pain in the butt to clean it everyday. I go through a can or bottle of glass cleaner a month just on it. I won't get rid of it because I'd hate to damage real wood and fake wood laminate is disgusting to look at.

Ikea does, however, make some really good solid wood desks, but expect to pay over $230 for them.

Looks good but is not stable, this will break easily. The legs have a direct fit into the plate - as most of IKEAs "office" tables. As an example, this table is much more stable: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S79885530/ (but not useful for your purpose I guess).
I'm considering picking up the large Parson table at a Container Store.

It looks very solid/simple and durable. Will cost about 200+ after tax.

If I may...

One of my employees bought this two years ago. She says it's still quite very stable. Her only complaint is that it's extremely heavy, and thus she requires her husband to help her move it around a few inches each month when she cleans the dust from under the feet. The price then was around $335, it's now $100 + tax. I suggest checking it out.

Thanks. Ikea got lot of cheap, simple tables. Things is I would have to go to the store in person to check it out. From what I read, Ikea furniture is not build to last.

I simply built mine from scratch into the wall using a mobile crane I also built to establish level whole I worked as the desk is 7 or 8 ft long...i don't remember nor do I feel like grabbing tools out of the garage (that aren't on my bedroom floor)....along with my bed opposing it...which also lifts up and fold up into the wall.

Carpenter + Nerd = CarpeNerd? I dunno... no pictures yet... I need to finish the surfaces and apply the flat surface appointments to hide...errrmm all of the guts of the desk.

Maybe I will remember to post up when I finish.
