[XI] Blog [Paid] [Deleted]

I have replied there.

One thing that I would also like to see is a secondary but very popular use for blogs: Newsblog.
I would like to use the blog to provide a news page, with blog roll, similar to www.techcrunch.com
Basically this means having a category with a newblog layout, that only selected usergroups can submit to. News blogs need to be approved before publication.

Is this something you would like to offer?

That would be great :-)

I edited my post above while you where posting. Please read the updated version.

Whoops! Onimua got you tho.
Without the need to repeat myself, and for the benefit of others reading, I'll link to my reply here: http://xenfluence.com/threads/category-management.115/#post-793
It doesn't beyond basic parent/child relationship at the moment.
Psst. You really need to play with the blog more closely. :p
Yes, I do. I was also on my phone or I would have played before answering. hahaha.

There's something along the lines of this but it's too early to give concrete details.

And where is screen to acp etc ...?
Log into the demo, though there isn't much to look at (only that the demo doesn't have access to is the general blog options). I haven't taken new screenshots for the blog yet.

I checked out the demo - it is deceptively simple, which I guess is a good thing!

Nothing much to it (except behind the scenes). It just creates entries which are like posts, and others can add comments.

I'm not sure I need it for anything yet, but who knows?

Just upgraded to the latest version and it removed 2 years of Blogs, ALL MAY BOGS ARE GONE! what gives?
Were you upgrading from LNBlog or XIBlog 1.0? If so, did you run the import step? If you check the database, you should still see lnblog_* tables in the database, which should be untouched.

Any plans to add xfrocks widgets for latest, most popular etc. blog entries? xfrocks says it should very easy to add widgets in the framework.

Third-party support is the last thing to come into the picture when the code is stable. I wouldn't expect them before the RC stages.
