Not planned XFMG blocks: new AND random instead of new OR random option?

In the demo I see the following options for blocks:
Recent Media Position

• Top
• Bottom
• Sidebar

Recent Media Order

• New Media
• Random Media

Either show the most recent media or a random selection

How about an option to show:

• Top [ New | Random | Off ]
• Bottom [ New | Random | Off ]
• Sidebar [ New | Random | Off ]

Unless I misunderstand, it seems now if you select more than one position for Recent Media Order: New, the same exact block data is shown for both positions.

I think it would be more interesting to be able to show New on the top and Random on the bottom, or new in the sidebar and random on the bottom, etc. rather than duplicating.

I'm going to go ahead and call this "Not planned" in its current incarnation.

Once XF 2 and XFMG 2 is released, the blocks will move to the new XF 2 widget system, and each block will be configurable independently and likely much more flexible in terms of positions too.
