XF 2.2 [XFMG 2.2] Media Gallery appearing as the wrong user

This is an odd one. I have the Gallery available only to staff, so it is not publicly viewable. What happens is, if I click on Gallery, my style changes, and my user menu at the top of the forum changes to the name of another administrator on our forum. If I click on his username, though, my user menu shows up...so I am not logged into his account.

We only found this out since he was attempting to upload images yesterday, and he could not find them after they were posted. I couldn't find them either, but finally located them under "Your media." Of course, they are not "my" media at all!

For staff, all permissions except "hard delete" are set to "Yes."

I also uploaded a test image, and I can't find it anywhere in "My media."

So somehow, attribution of these uploads is incorrect.

I rebuilt all XFMG caches and the problem persists.

Can’t really explain this but this basically can’t happen under normal operation so there’s going to be something external at play here such as some sort of misconfigured caching layer somewhere or similar.

So I would start looking at things like that and then rule out other add-ons affecting it in some way.

I agree, it feels like something is off with respect to caching. It is not on the browser end, as I can open up different browsers and get the same issue. I hadn't even entered the gallery in a few months.

One other clue at the bottom of the screen: "The active user has changed. Reload the page for the latest version." And reloading it does nothing.

I'll start with rebuilding the rest of the caches, then check on the add-ons. This is the only area of the forum this is happening on. There are only two of us who have used it thus far, as it's limited to staff only.
