Reminds me of teletext.Anyone remember the XF version from 1996? 'Twas quite a feast for the eyes. I couldn't do a screen capture of the blinking text, unfortunately.

Oh God, that's exactly what it would have looked like back then, isn't it? The days of websites that brought tears to one's eyes are hopefully behind us, save in the memories of those of us who were there.Anyone remember the XF version from 1996? Did you just make this today with web inspector or was it something XF used for a previous April Fooler?Anyone remember the XF version from 1996? 'Twas quite a feast for the eyes. I couldn't do a screen capture of the blinking text, unfortunately.

The former. I couldn't resist.Did you just make this today with web inspector or was it something XF used for a previous April Fooler?
I remember those days. A lot of us were doing this in our basements, learning color codes, the blink tab, using crude image editors, and CSS wasn't even an option. Somewhere on an old floppy disk, I still have the files for the site I uploaded to CompuServe's "OurWorld" server, which was where members could host their own home page. That had to be 1995.Oh God, that's exactly what it would have looked like back then, isn't it?
