XF 1.5 - Changing Text for ("private")

When a forum node is configured as a private forum, it says (private) on the main forum menu for unauthorized users. This is by design - we want users to be aware of these areas but only certain people have access to them.

I have not been able to find where this expression, (private) is stored and I'd like to be able to change it. Using the ACP search function, I've struck out.

It should be the phrase private I think.

In the ACP under styles menu, click on search phrases and look for the phrase private there. You can edit it.

If my understanding is correct, the search at the top level of the ACP should find all instance of this word. Many came up related to a bookmarks add-in, but I looked at everything, I think - no hits for this.

I went into Styles, and tried to filter items and put in 'private' but nothing.

But you got me headed down the right path. I went into Appearance -> Languages -> English and found it there.
