XenWord Pro [Deleted]

Hey,

Our wordpress is on the top level www.xyz.com of our domain and our xenforo is in a subdomain community.xyz.com. Would it still be possible to use this plugin?

Both are located on the same server.

I think it may have been a conflict with the Widget Framework actually. I uninstalled it a few days ago because it kept producing server errors, it sounds like a great plugin, but it doesn't seem to be very compliant with the other plugins on my site :(

It is great. But not being updated maybe as often.

Can XenForo be on a subdomain and WordPress on domain?
Yes but it is not perfect yet. You might end up with redirect problems during login, requiring a theme edit. You may also need a change in your XenForo configuration file to set cookies. See this post for information.

I think this has some conflicts with Siropu Chat as I get the following error whenever I post an article. The article posts, but it does not go onto the forum:

I've got that chat mod and don't have the issue.

I did have this similar issue with the classifieds addon though so I'm not sure what the exact cause of it but I do know that the classifieds author was the one that had to fix it

Unfortunately the owner of the chat add-on is saying that the error is not because of the chat, so I doubt they will do anything =/
 
Any more ideas @LPH ?
It is urgent to get this fixed (I would post a support ticket, but my computer isn't letting me access the support site properly :(

I'm glad I'm not the only one. In fact, nearly a month ago, I couldn't even update without taking my entire site down. Luckily it sorted itself out but I wasn't able to get any replies. I know he was on training from the beginning of July to the 22nd, but it's quite a while after that. Just hope everything is okay
 
Hi. How flexible is the Wordpress posting into XenForo?

is it possible for example to say if X category, then post in Y forum?

if active xenword plugin I can not get into WordPress /wp.admin/index.php administration, the site brings me to login with xenForo

You should be able to login using your XenForo account.
If that doesn't work, have you made sure to follow the pre-installation setup in the Read Me (where you have to change the WordPress User IDs in your databases)?
