Everyone has their own unique way of doing things.

I do believe people have the right to be suspicious and cautious. Given the circumstances, I too would be suspicious and cautious. I am not agreeing with the way he is going about it (as he does have paying customers who have a stake in this).

But I also understand the action of snubbing a noise in the air and ignoring demands, when people start to go on a witch hunt.

I know Jaxel reads this thread and that is not hard to figure out. I wish him peace and I hope that he has everything under control... there are other things that can take priority in your life besides an online community.

The fact is that @Jaxel told us everything we needed to know when he made the crowdfunding and some days after the end of it. He will start the beta forum when XenPorta 2.0 will be ready to be on beta stage, what is the point in giving news when he potentially can't have any? I want this addon at least as much as you guys but I know patience

Either way, not causing trouble, merely voicing my opinion just as everyone else has done. You are on one side, I am obviously on the other. I respect your opinion and thoughts, but they are vastly different than my own.

And my opinion is that you like to prematuraly stir things up to discredit someone that in your mind stole money from others wherease there is absolutely no evidence for it. No, there isn't.

To all who are worried: Use common sense. Someone like Jaxel can't afford to scam the community he is part of since the beginning. It isn't worth it for him to lose everything he has to lose here just because of one free vacation.

That is honestly the dumbest thing I have ever read. The reason why this thread has turned ugly is because the developer has completely shut down communication. So Jaxel, let me help you how easily you could have made this whole thing much better:

"Sorry guys for my absence, I have had a lot of [INSERT REASON] which have taken up my time recently. I do plan on releasing a beta soon, I will let you guys know when I have a definite date of release on it. Not to worry, the XenPorta 2.0 is coming."

Was that so hard? No? There is no excuse. Communication is key, Jaxel lack it apparently.

I can't say that I agree with the way @Jaxel has handled the communication in this thread. He shouldn't be allowing some users to panic the majority of the contributors who have shown belief in his product by putting their hands in their pockets.

I have never bought a Jaxel product before but I'm hoping to use XenPorta 2.0 on my site so I bought a license as part of this crowdfund. I contacted him by PM with a couple of questions and he responded with the answers I wanted.

I fully believe that Jaxel will deliver. Maybe not as quickly as some of would like but he will deliver before the due date and it will be a good product as his work usually is.

As such, I can not give an exact date of public release. I have listed it as December 2014 as a safety measure, but I assume it will be ready for public release sometime before that.

Well yes. He said a month, and it has been 3 months. As I said, a simple explanation would suffice. That is not asking much, when people have paid 5000$ for it..

Hello there, I would propose something to introduce each categories with a special header.
For example, when we create a major category (if it still exists) we would be able to enter an image and this image will be just under the navigation, before the container.

Even if you loose it (there was no guarantee) you've no rights to press him with such words. Just download his FREE(!!) current XenPorta and you are set.

I am choosing to wait for finished product... I still run vBulletin and IBPower sites, several wordpress blogs... there are always new developments coming along. XenForo is cool software and Jaxel has made it even more so. It is the website designer who develops his site using tools available at the time... This is just my hobby, retired and loving it. How about you?
