XenForo Question: High Traffic / Concurrent Users?

I'm looking at XenForo as a potential solution, but am wondering about how it handles concurrent users and what scalability solutions folks have in mind?

Our site normally runs at ~150-200 concurrent users generating ~80 pageviews per minute.

But we have about 5-6 spikes per year that reach up to 15k concurrent users and 8k pageviews per second.

Anyone have experience in this area?

That depends on your hosting mostly, not on xenforo .

we have spike-y forum traffic at times.

Not sure about peak page views per second, though. 8k/s is very high, but I think this bit could be handled with guest caching.

What platform are you on right now?
