Are there any plans to make it more modular? Currently a lot of stuff seems hardcoded for paypal and there is no abstract processor.

I would like to see processing abilities for Authorize.net and Chargify.com. Is this possible or easy to do? I'm not a programmer so don't know how they have things set up. I'm just curious if it's so nested in there that it would be impossible to extract Paypal and put another payment provider in. Any thoughts on this?

I'm sorry to bring this thread up after so many months but I have the same question. Is there a planned feature to make the payment gateways more modular?

We need this sort of things in order to make XenForo a real platform!
