XenForo in VPS - Is it a problem with Google's index?

There are two different VPSs Managed and unmanaged. Huge cost per the option. How are you with root account manipulation?
Right now I'm kind of like:
sudo noob

:D :D :D
I have an unmanaged VPS M on Contabo. German company, great support when required. Few minor problems when we started out, but haven’t had any issues the last two years.
Thank you. I'll take a look at what they offer. Either way, there's a 99% chance I'll switch hosting companies.

I have an unmanaged VPS and Dedicated Sever with https://www.hivelocity.net/ . Support is top notch!

Looks good maybe! I'll save a link to them too :) Thank you :)

Yes, I like that too, it's super convenient and I'll really think about it. I have it on my shared host, a few clicks and everything is great :D
cPanel is client side. WHM = server side. Much more functionality. Also WHM = easily = mess things up.

Not sure about WebMin but WHM gives root access / changes.
Maybe all control panels give root access to VPS, but some are more complex with more options, others are more basic and with fewer options (you can't touch much). It depends on which panel you prefer - the key is convenience. With CloudPanel I think there is no direct root access except through SSH but I have no problems with it, it is easy to set up and it is free.

The question you have to ask yourself. Do you want a panel to make it easy for you or do you actually want to learn how to achieve a command line output to your project. I would suggest setting up a test server and tinkering with that until you get the concepts of how command line works. I am a noob too but have learned a lot.

So it's like WebMin :D Too complicated, but it's not impossible to learn how to work with it.

I'm generally interested in using Linux, the idea that you can do much more through the command line than through the ready-made interface is fascinating. I struggled with Linux systems years ago, then I managed to make my own pool for mining crypto currencies. And yes, I may someday buy some kind of server for local home testing and training, but for now I'm focused on the forum.

Learn how to compile nginx (the webserver) install mariabd (database) and install php-fpm (to process your forum code). Learn the basic domain configuration to have the forum appear and use the database.

When I say learn - I mean google to read a walkthrough how to compile nginx with your distro, or use remi repo for installing php-fpm packages on CentOS/almalinux etc.

You'll learn how a server really works and you'll never use a control panel again and you'll save money which can be used for better drives or more CPU/RAM.

Get a $5 vps and practice, absorb it all.

Thanks :) But in the end, after it was determined that there really was a problem with the SEO of the system, I decided to start over, but with another system that turned out to be better than WordPress + Yoast :D I won't go into details, but I tested 2.3.6 on a VPS and a shared host with cPanel. In both cases, the domains stopped indexing, and I don't know if they will ever get better (Google will decide). It's just that after version 2.2.17, things with Xenforo from SEO have changed, and for the worse, which is a great pity. The good thing is that due to these circumstances I ended up with a better forum system (Discourse). There is no doubt that it is quite difficult to install for someone who has no experience, but once installed, this system is amazing. There is a lot to be desired, but.... for a free one, it is enough for me and I am happy with it. :)
