XF 2.2 Xenforo ignored "Default email sender name"

This is what i have set in the email config:

Apparently xenforo ignores that value and still sends the mail using the forum name



What can I do to fix it?

The option affects the "from" field of the email, not the subject of the email. To change the subject of the email you would have to edit the email templates. You could replace instances of $xf.options.boardTitle with $xf.options.emailSenderName to use the sender name.
