xenforo and wordpress

Which bridge? There are three established ones:

Each has its pros and cons.

Does any of these bridges help you if you have WP in the main directory and Xenforo in a subdirectory? If not, since I have these two installed like this in two different databases, when I'm on the Wordpress site, how do I make a "Community" tab show on my WP site so that you can click on it and go to the Xenforo forum. I have it set up as mysite.com/community but don't don't how to add the "Community" part on the WP site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
