Hey guys Im planning to migrate a 14 year old vb forum to xenforo.
Despite the fact that we're not using friendly URLs, our ranking is very good and also our site has been recognized as a forum by google.

According to this post https://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-google-results-fall-behind-vbulletin.106046/page-2 is rare that google recognize xenforo websites as forums.

Would that be bad for SEO? Should I expect a drop in traffic or ranking?

    Thanks for the input.

Is it possible to remove /threads/ and /forums/ to keep vb folder structure? Would that be beneficial ?

I was on vB and moved to xF and I'm really happy that I done that and I don't think it would damage your traffic .

xF got much better features dude just give xF a chance and move your forum to xF
