oh snap i was just wishing for a thing like this......what would be really clutch tho is to allow a permission so friend groups can download each others attachments but not everyone.

you think you might add something like that?

In this add-on, will there be a field for “by whom” the downloaded content was downloaded?

This add-on's primary goal is to limit and restrict attachment downloads, not to track who downloads them. However, I believe there are other add-ons available that provide this functionality.

That's correct; the minimum required XenForo version mentioned in the resource is 2.2.4. It seems you're running a lower version of XenForo.

If you’re not planning to upgrade your XenForo installation at this time, please feel free to open a ticket on XenCustomize. We'll see the possibility of providing a custom version compatible with your current XenForo version.

I just want to know if this plugin has a countdown feature that tells the user how long he has to wait for the attachment to download? Instead of making the user wait for hours in front of his computer.

I've looked at this and it seems to be a rather broad countdown feature, not a specific countdown, I'd like to implement the functionality of my existing component as shown below, can this component do that?

I watched it and I think that's a countdown of the waiting time before the download, not really informing the user how long he needs to wait for a new download indicator to become available when his download indicator runs out.

Thank you for clarifying! I understand what you're referring to now. While the Limits Info Tabs Bar and Download Limits Overview provide information about the limits, they don’t currently display a specific countdown timer for when the limit resets after being reached.

You're welcome to post this as a suggestion in our Suggestions forum, and we’ll consider adding it in a future update.
