Will this work @Painbaker with your paid registration add-on I purchased from you if I don't have a free tier, like can this be used when they register to offer a discount for registering or would being a member first be required?

Yes, these add-ons are fully compatible with each other.

It would be quite effective if we could send a birthday greeting with a account upgrade coupon as birthday present.
i.e.

Dear {$username},

The (boardname} community wishes you a nice birthday today. Please drop by if you can.
To make your day even brighter, we gift you an account upgrade coupon: HAPPYBD
You can enter this coupon code here to upgrade your account.

With the code I would like to give them a week of an certain account upgrade. The code should only be valid within a week o fthe members birthday.

I think this would work nicely to bring inactive members back to the site.

The global limit allows the same user to reuse the coupon on other upgrades (or after completion of upgrade with an already used coupon) as long as the limit is not exceeded.

I've added a per-user limit in the new update.

So the user cannot renew the upgrade using the coupon again? They have to wait for it to expire? I basically want to give 1 user a coupon code that they can use it 3 times for the same upgrade.

But the use is manual - user must enter it in the upgrade purchase form

You need to check this box on the relevant coupon, and it will then be automatically sent out when the user's upgrade expires.
