Hello. I am looking for a platform for a community for my startup cherrytask.com. XenForo looks very interesting but I have a few questions. First, I am hosting my WordPress site on WPEngine. Is there any issue installing XenForo there? Second, I’m not clear on how users are managed. Will the WordPress user management be honored for privileges, etc.? Also, I’m using MemberPress. Can permissions from MemberPress be integrated somehow? Or will I have to have another set of user login, etc.? Sorry for the newbie questions!!!
More importantly, can my XenForo installation support both a free and open community as well as private areas for paid clients only? I intend to have both and would like for this to be on the same platform. I’m hoping to have this live within a couple of weeks!
