Not using it yet because I have to find a good slider for this theme.
I want one that looks like www.ign.com and I need to figure out how to edit the header background (not the logo)

The biggest difference is the new one truly is dynamic, any template changes any css changes you make are carried over. It shows your alerts and inbox everything. Good news is it's actually easier to install than the other one.
