@RoldanLT - this seems to either be a conflict with or an error from the Social Share add-on.
Since that is a paid add-on I'm unable to find out which.
Could you please disable the Double Post add-on and see if you still get the error.

The ability not to lift the limit for admins because of ascending order permissions made me have to uninstall it sadly Wish you can do something regarding that.

@Robust - I recommend you create and assign a secondary user group that specifically includes the Double Post time limits. Simply set all Double Post limits on your primary groups to zero and then assign the new secondary group to desired primary groups.

@Robust that is mentioned in this thread (early on) and it is also in the readme.txt attached to the file. I tested the secondary group ID thing and it works perfectly, just kind of a pain that's all. There is literally no other way around it.

I think your problem doesn't relate to Double Post Merge / [bd] Social Share. It may be a problem with some kind of scheduled post/thread. Do you happen to have that?

I'm not sure when but I always get this everyday at least 5 same errors in server error log.

Hi @Syndol ,

Unfortunately, one of my users encountered the same problem today with the same pattern @Divvens described.
A user commented in a thread and added only attachments to his message (12 images if it matters). Then he replied again with just a text post. Then on the third reply (both previous messages were merged) when he tried to add an attachment or text, he got the exact error above.

It still happening and it's completely random. Mostly can be noticed when people upload pictures from Android devices (OS version doesn't really matter). I've disabled the add-on and everything worked well again for quite time until I enabled the add-on again. So it's either some type of a conflict with other add-on(s), or some problem in the add-on itself. I will try to dig in the code to try and find something, but I'm quite hopeless since it happens so randomly - very weird bug.

I would like to thank @rellect for finding the elusive character limit bug and thanks @Moshe1010 for persistently pursuing it.

What's new:

• Fixed a bug that prevented Thread Watch and Forum Watch alerts from being sent out.
  
• When the bump thread option is set, if a post has previously been edited and is then merged, the "Last edited" text and date is now removed in order to prevent the date from showing as older than the new post date.
