Will you be creating an importer for phpBB?

I know phpBB isn't widely regarded but my site started out on a free host and we still use phpBB for the forum.

I've been waiting for the right thing to come along before upgrading and I think I've found it.

A migration script would be absolutely essential though and is a show stopper.

I understand that your priority is to get the core functionality working and presumably you'll be targeting vB forum owners first but after that?

Guess I'm waiting. Sent off an e-mail to the Xenfans guys and haven't heard back. Their quote form only seems to give a price, and not suggest what to do with it, how long it'd take, or how to actually get started once you got the quote.

i hope the BULK LEAVE CONVERSATION will be implemented before the phpbb importer is implemented..
the Conversation is really the problem withe phpbb to xf owners like me.
500+ of unread conversations is so annoying after imported.

Currently a phpBB importer doesn't exist.

You will have to use Impex and go via vB.
If you're not able to do that then there are third parties who offer such services.
