Is there a way I can add a widget to a specific category/forum only?

Basically, yes. Use conditionals, either in the template or in a "dummy" additional HTML widget.

Hm doesn't explain how I can only show it in one place and only in a specific category, for example I want a widget on this page on the right side ONLY: https://www.gnonline.net/categories/evilgunz.113/

Yep, you need to figure out the conditional you want to use but that's the method to use once you have.

x is 113 in your case

So I think the steps are:

Make the widget you want.

Make a HTML widget to use as a "dummy". Stick this code into the HTML widget in advanced mode:

<xf:if is="$forum.node_id == 113">
    <xf:widget key="widget_key_for_your_widget" />
</xf:if>

The widget key should be the key from the first widget.

Assign the HTML widget to the sidebar.

I picked the 'Category view: Sidebar' is that correct?

For that position you'd need to use $category rather than $forum. Otherwise, I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Instead of $forum or $category try $context.forum or $context.category.

Does everything need "context" adding before it or does it depend?

The $context stuff only applies to widgets and it only applies if the widget position has context passed in to it. Certain things (like $xf stuff) are global so should be usable anywhere.
